Indigenous Drumming and Story Ceremony with Stl’atl’imx Elder & Tina Pashumati James

  • Nectar Yoga 720 Gardner Lane Bowen Island, BC, V0N 1G2 Canada (map)

Join us for a sacred afternoon of storytelling, drumming, and ceremony in honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day and the Summer Solstice, led by Sylvia Shanoss (Mumsi), a respected Stl’atl’imx Elder, and Tina Pashumati James.

This gathering is an opportunity to connect with the wisdom of the land, the voices of the ancestors, and the power of community. We will honour the longest day of the year, a time of renewal and transformation that has long been a significant celebration among First Nations Peoples.

Together, we will share in:

  • A welcome circle and drumming ceremony

  • Storytelling and prayers with Mumsi

  • A land-blessing and intention-setting ritual for the shift into the summer season

  • Teachings on Indigenous traditions and plant medicine

This by-donation event is open to the community and retreat guests. Retreat guests are asked to register separately.
