Event Overview
The Spring Equinox is a sacred day of equal light and dark, it is hinge point that ushers us into the season of light. An energetic doorway can be opened on this day, offering curiosity, clarity, and new beginnings.
Led by Nectar Creatrix, Andrea, we’ll gather together in Nectar’s sacred geodesic dome to share our voices and intentions. Themes of seeding creativity, opening to more flow in our daily lives, renewal, and release will be discussed.
After our opening circle, Andrea will guide the group through a 60-minute Slow Flow, all-levels yoga class. A crystal bowl sound bath will follow to close this offering.
Crystal bowls offer binaural beats which propel the brain into brainwave states of deep relaxation, such as beta waves or even meditative or trance-like brainwave states in theta waves*
We look forward to sharing this beautiful evening with our community.

About Sound Baths
Just as a typical bath involves a person immersing themselves in the medium of water, a sound bath attempts to envelop a person in the medium of sound. In most cases, the bath involves singing bowls, which are instruments made out of metal or crystal that create a resonant tone (much like a bell) when a practitioner strikes them.
Sound baths convey an immersive sound that fills the entire room and the bodies within the space, transmitting sound waves throughout the entire body, including memories and sensations stored in the cells. The resonance activates both theta, alpha, and gamma brain waves, states that are associated with relaxation, the letting go of mental and physical stress, and emotions relating to wellbeing and compassion.
